Joshua graduated from Seton Hall Univ. with a degree in communications. He now works at the New Jersey Reentry Corporation, helping ex-offenders find their way when out of prison.

 
PASSAGE | Mark 13:13, Psalm 37:4 and Galatians 6:2


Mark 13:13 ESV

And you will be hated by all for my name's sake. But the one who endures to the end will be saved.


Psalm 37:4 ESV

Delight yourself in the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart.


Galatians 6:2 ESV

Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.

  1. What kinds of struggles do college students face?

  2. According to Galatians 6:2, why is it important to discuss the struggles that we face?

  3. Mark 13:13 begins by stating, "You will be hated by all because of my name." What are some ways you have been shown hate or dislike because of your lifestyle for God?

  4. How do we overcome the hate that we will face in our lives by those that disagree with our lifestyle?

  5. What are some prayers that you are waiting to be answered? According to Psalm 37:4, what must we do while we wait for these prayers to be answered?

  6. Being single is a concept that some college students struggle with. Sex, as I explained in the video, is something that some college students don't value. It's seen as something that should be done with anyone at any time. What are some Bible verses that encourage young people to walk in purity during their singleness before marriage?
